This project is approaching the ‘finish line’ and we’re sharing a look down the final stretch.  We’ve been employing a P-Tn ProgressWEBCAM throughout this build to capture images for this full-length Time-Lapse Video.  In addition, we’ve captured periodic aerial views of milestones by our drones and professional pilots.  The end result – to-date – is this video from demolition to pre-landscape, which you can view HERE!  We hope to add a few more exterior views once the landscaping is complete, ... Our Progress WEBCAM Solar Trailers have been well received by a growing number of P-Tn clients in need of remote site monitoring capabilities.  Typically this offers quick(er) deployment to the site, repositioning capabilities, and wireless + solar power to simplify installation and activation.  We’ve based our Progress WEBCAM System on this approach.  However, we routinely handle custom installations that do not involve one of our Solar Trailers.  We mount our monitoring cameras to poles, ... When a DRONE can’t do the job for our client’s aerials, we simply step-it-up with something bigger to get the altitude we need!  P-Tn Head Photographer Travis Berndt recently took to the air with a professional pilot to capture a special composition – for a special client -- of downtown Kansas City.  We had to wait patiently for the ‘right’ weather conditions, and he hit the mark … clear skies, no clouds, and virtually no haze, thanks to a quick spring storm a day or two before.  This is a small ... Can you tell what type of facility we are photographing in this shot?  We do take countless photos (and videos) on construction sites for ‘linear’ projects like water / sewer mains or street improvements, plus construction progress photos (ground and aerial) on a wide variety of sites.  However, we are also called upon to create marketing quality imagery of completed projects.  These may be for social media and web content, for other advertising materials or digital displays, or for Wall ... We’ve shared some of the Wall Displays we’ve created for our clients in recent years, but we do this more often than you might realize.  Good photographs should be shared – and not always by computer or online.  Remember the spaces you work and live in!  Photographic prints are NOT a thing of the past.  Flat screen TV’s are a part of our interiors, but framed prints are too – still.  P-Tn will take the professional images we capture and make color (or black & white, if you prefer) wall ... So, is this your company’s team?  Just for grins, let us know if you think it is … or let us know if you’ve got a team that wants a group portrait!  We shot this fine looking group recently for (obviously) a Kansas City Metro area construction company – a fine looking & colorful group of people. “Family” portraits like this are great for recording business milestones or special events and make for excellent social media features or website posting.  They also offer possibilities for ... Whether we LIKE social media or not . . . we all recognize the value of an online presence for promoting our businesses.  And NETWORKING through social media is an important part of that process.  I’ll be direct, then.  Please send us your company & personal ‘handles’ for LINKEDIN / INSTAGRAM / and FACEBOOK, and we’ll be sure to find and follow/connect through our own P-Tn social media platforms.  We’ll help increase traffic to your pages, while you help connect people to us!  We’ll all ... J.M. Fahey Construction is in full swing paving streets throughout the KC Metro Area, including Kansas City, Missouri and Shawnee, Kansas.  And our photographers are out there with their crews, creating new marketing photos for web and social media posts.  We have our FAA certified Pilots at some site, too, capturing their cold milling and asphalt paving operations from above – in addition to ground photos of their equipment. We have had the pleasure of providing this type of work for JM ... Read More about THEY’RE PAVING & WE’RE SHOOTING

Class of 1968?  That IS a ‘blast from the past’, but it’s also another sample of our FAA Certified Drone Pilots flight skills, and our video editing.  Perhaps you’re a Shawnee Mission North Alum.  Maybe even from the Class of 1968?  Regardless, there’s a not-so-recent look at the good ‘ole SMN campus, from the air a few years back … including nostalgic music and icons you graduates will remember.  Fifty-five years is a long time, and we were pleased to contribute this video to the memory of your ... Here we are, back in the fields of rural Kansas & Missouri, near Cameron, Missouri this time.  We’re frequently ‘all over’ these two states completing assignments for Pre or Post-Construction documentation on construction projects.  These are often cross-country sewer or water transmission lines, but can also be street or highway improvements, or powerline routes.  Our photo & video records capture existing field conditions along the route, especially recording existing damage along the ... We’ve been helping keep our clients informed of Building Science Symposium events for more than a year, now.  It was last summer that P-Tn was able to assist this non-profit by redesigning and rebuilding their website, which you are invited to visit at BSandBEERkc.org.  The BS* is not what some might think, but instead refers to Building Science, which has the focus of bringing contractors together at these events, to network, learn about best practices in building, discover new products, and – ...
