Thought we’d share some aerial imagery which P-Tn drone pilots captured earlier this summer of the Rock Island Bridge Entertainment Venue Project. The conversion of this 100+ year old Classic RR bridge into a modern entertainment attraction is well underway, and the final concept & layout are now clearly visible in the work to-date. As the bridge superstructure improvements and infrastructure gradually transition to more conventional construction for the venue spaces and interior / finish work, more changes will be seen throughout this coming fall and winter.
Although things have changed a bit from these shared video images … they show the dramatic difference between where this project STARTED, and the changes to-date, including LIFTING the overall bridge height, installing decks and roofing, wall framing, balconies, and more.
