P-Tn Nappanee Pour

OUT-OF-TOWN DRONE FLIGHTS ?

As you watch the pullback flight in this VIDEO you will appreciate the scope of this concrete pour, and the overall size of the project involved.  Our focus, pardon the pun, is not on the size of the job, but the location.  This flight took place at a high school track modernization more than 600 miles from the Kansas City Metro – which is not only where P-Tn is Headquartered, but where the GC for this project is located as well.

We’ve been coordinating assignments like this for years now, and handled remote flights on projects in Texas, Louisiana, Kentucky, Tennessee, Arkansas, Oklahoma, Illinois, Indiana, Wisconsin, Michigan, and other places far from home here in Kansas City.  Our photographers or pilots have traveled to many of these locations, as well.  Depending upon the level of photography involved (drone aerial imaging with still photos & video, on this assignment) … it may be more practical to coordinate the services of a remote UAS-Drone pilot to capture raw footage for P-Tn to edit or make into final digital files or prints.  Either way, we insure that the assignment is completed properly, on time, and within our quote to meet your budget.

Quality is the emphasis.  We deliver high quality photography and video here in KC, and we can provide the same high quality when remote drone pilot services are involved.  Although you can hire pilots anywhere in the USA using a few different online platforms, P-Tn will do so for you AND work with the pilot we select to insure that the best outcome ends up in your hands – whether still aerial photos or an edited marketing or promotional video.  Finding an available pilot for your site is not the end game, and finding an inexpensive pilot is not likely the best choice, either.  We find that rates for drone pilots can vary as much as 500% for the same assignment!  We also find that a more economical pilot may have far better flight skills than the most expensive.  Details like image resolution, 2K or 4K video resolution, and the make & model of drone to be used are critical factors which are sometimes never discussed.  When screening a remote pilot, we view examples of their work, and then discuss in detail to flight maneuvers involved and compositions desired, then request specific examples to confirm those skills.  Weather conditions at time of flight, insurance, FAA certification and license number, copyright and ownership, delivery method, pre-editing, etc.  The list goes on…

Read our DRONE MYTHS flier and appreciate the complexity of hiring an FAA Certified Professional Drone Pilot.

If you need any assistance in capturing drone imaging for remote locations, perhaps we can take the headache out of that process.  Perhaps we can handle post-production video editing to meet your needs, or prepare reproduction quality digital image files for you, or impressive WALL DISPLAY prints of those aerial shots.  Let us know where your work is, what you’d like to have in hand, and we’ll make the arrangements to handle it all from beginning to end … whether we do the traveling and the flight, or we enlist the services of a pilot from our resource base to add to the effort.

We also provide remote site monitoring to this same firm for many of their out-of-town projects, using our SOLAR TRAILER units mounted with one of our ProgressWEBCAM Systems.
