We’re sharing more posts about the return of large color METAL Wall Display photographs in offices. You may notice that the one in this post has an unusual feature; this unique color print is bonded directly onto an ALUMINUM base! These high quality ChromaLuxe metal prints rival any photographic product, delivering a high-tech or industrial feel that draws viewers closer. No glass or framing is required. We recommend most metals be displayed using a ‘float mount’ securely attached to the back, allowing the photo to ‘float’ off the wall to create a natural drop shadow. Options are available for float mounting with an oversized fabric covered block behind (creating a framed look, without the frame), or an actual frame that allows the metal print to float within the wood moulding.
Glass is not even an option. The print surface has a UV resistant coating applied, rendering longevity that is 1.7 to 2 times the life of conventional photo papers. Our Chromaluxe panels have an extremely durable scratch resistant surface that is waterproof and you can easily clean with a soft damp cloth.
Other options for metal printing include an alunimessence surface using a brushed silver base which will allow the metal to show through to create an ‘edgy’ look. Our clients here in Kansas City can enjoy sizes up to 30×40 inches (and beyond – to 38×58 — on special order). There are a variety of unique dimensions available as well. Panoramic formats or curved smaller metal prints are ideal for gifting to clients or for desktop and other office displays. You may prefer a matte metal finish rather than high-gloss. We offer brushed aluminum easels for smaller print sizes, to display on desks and shelves.
