Yup. That’s a manhole in a backyard. One of thousands we’ve photographed just this year and last! Our photographer is not walking away, he’s documenting the route that a construction crew will use as they access this manhole to complete rehabilitation and other system improvements. We do the same for point repair locations, sewer pipe relining, water main and service replacements or connection … and the list goes on. PRE-Construction and POST-Construction PHOTO or VIDEO documentation (or a combination of BOTH) in these construction zones is a service P-Tn has provided to municipalities, contractors, and engineers for more than a half century – on projects throughout the Kansas City Metro as well as the Central Midwest (and sometimes beyond). Creating a reliable Visual Documentation record of the existing conditions prior to start-up of construction, and again after completion of work, protects all parties from misunderstandings or unfair claims throughout the construction process.
Our field teams lead the way by recording conditions and noting damage before the construction crews arrive. We return to wrap closeout with a confirming record that all areas were properly restored. It all arrives on a thumb drive with our LINKINGapp All Digital Deliverable, for easy viewing and sharing. For some projects, periodic progress documentation delivers time-related updates and illustrates field procedures and processes for permanent files and planning for future jobs. We provide AERIAL DOCUMENTATION using our drones to capture still photos and/or video footage on larger linear projects.
