We’ve been super busy for quite a bit! We shared in social media posts that part of our field-shooting team has been out of town recently – quite a way out of town … about 150 miles from the Mexican border, in beautiful rural Texas! A 35+ mile long CROSS-COUNTRY water pipeline was our focus for Pre-Construction PHOTO/VIDEO Documentation.
Linear projects like this happen throughout the USA, and on occasion P-Tn receives calls to handle documentation on projects well beyond the Kansas City Metro. Well beyond Kansas & Missouri, in some cases. This pipeline repair route travels thru some very remote areas, but there are always valuable features and improvements along the alignment that call for capturing a professional record of field conditions. It will serve to protect all parties involved in the event of questions during or after construction. Property owners, water district, and the general contractor all benefit from having a Visual Documentation Record of site conditions before construction begins. A similar record after completion of all work will serve as proof of proper site restoration.
We typically complete our PHOTO/VIDEO work using either still PHOTOGRAPHS along the alignment route, or HI-DEF VIDEO recordings as an alternative. The videos include clear narration to describe conditions captured on screen. Especially with larger linear projects, we add aerial drone video or still frame capture to provide broad overviews from above. Our interactive 360-degree arial PANORAMAS are a unique option that delivers highly detailed views from above key locations along the route. ALL our imagery is produced and delivered using our LINKINGapp. All Digital Delivery System, which links the documentation directly to the original plan sheets in PDF format, permitting clients to find the locations of interest and simply click to view photos, or play videos and panoramic views.
