P-Tn’s DRONE pilot captured an important milestone in this residential home construction project. Perhaps two milestones at once, actually. With the foundation complete and the formwork removed, we were able to show a portion of the process of installing a critical layer of insulation (in this case – Rockwool) on the compacted gravel below what will become the poured-concrete basement floor in this new house.
You can see the process unfold quickly as the Rockwool panels are delivered and stored on site, then easily cut to size as the entire floor area is covered in record time. P-Tn is providing a ProgressWEBCAM Site Monitoring Unit for the construction team at CATALYST CONSTRUCTION of Prairie Village, KS., to monitor site activities. By the end of the build, a full-length Time-lapse Video will be edited to show the demolition of the old house on the property and construction of the new home on the site. Catalyst will utilize the site monitoring during construction for the entire team (and the owner, if they choose), plus a marketing quality Time-lapse video in the end for promoting the work that’s been done. We often add a selection of finished photos or another drone flight after completion and add that to the video … or make prints for use in an office Wall Display.
