This is just another Storm Drainage Improvement Project … or is it?
We’re not talking about curb work, manholes, and storm inlets. This time, the work involves clearing and replacing a long stretch of existing main storm drainage channel. There’s a lot to be done in the back yards of many residences along the route from 99th Terrace to 97th Terrace in Overland Park, Kansas. In addition, there is asphalt paving, grading, channel lining, RFB, retaining walls, storm drainage, lighting, landscaping, and more. The change will be dramatic, and very beneficial to reducing stormwater related issues in the area.
Our video shows a portion of the existing channel as it currently appears, as well as the most recently improved section of the channel, which was also constructed by the same General Contractor, VF Anderson Construction of Harrisonville, Missouri. Engineering design was provided by HNTB ‘s Overland Park Ks. office.
See the coming change!
P-Tn’s scope of work includes PRE-Construction documentation with both still photography and audio-video recordings along the entire construction route, including back yards of all adjacent residential properties. In addition, we provided detailed photographic coverage during inspections of dozens of adjacent residences, showing existing conditions or damage both inside and outside of each structure. These photos are provided using an All-Digital Delivery System similar to our LINKINGapp, which we use for nearly all of our documentation imagery.
