TWENTY YEARS LATER . . . This photo shows our chief tech for ProgressWEBCAM Systems, atop a chemical silo at an Olathe Water Treatment Plant expansion project. We were making a series of adjustments to maintain power and stability for our unit, which was monitoring jobsite activity during the year+ long build. The unique location for the camera offered many challenges, along with unique advantages by using a high location for overall site viewing. Using a PTZ [Pan-Tilt-Zoom] camera permitted observation in nearly all directions, with online viewer control for the project team. In addition, we programmed capture of images intended to create Time-lapse VIDEOS of each major structure or phase of construction during the expansion.
You can see that the mount is customized to the unusual camera location, but you cannot see that it was powered from a custom designed solar power system, which became necessary after we discovered the AC power at the location was unreliable. A challenge from the beginning, for sure, but we design, then monitor our installs throughout deployment, we troubleshoot, and we provide maintenance plus on-site or back-end programming adjustments as needed. We take our work personally, because we do it personally; we’re not a broker for another provider, and we don’t just sell you hardware for you to manage yourself.

Site monitoring is ONE thing .. marketing videos are ANOTHER – how about having P-Tn deliver BOTH?
